Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce Community Improvement Awards
Celebrate Development and Beautification

The Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce will honor area organizations that have reinvested in our community and improved it for all at the 9^th Annual Community Improvement Awards Luncheon, Thursday, September 9. Projects to be highlighted include improvements to existing facilities as well as new construction in a variety of categories.

Also being recognized with this year’s Spirit Award is the Festival of Murals. The Spirit Award recognizes a project that makes a difference in the development of the community and the community spirit even though it may not necessarily involve construction materials and landscaping. The Festival of Murals is a deserving project for this award.
The organizations being celebrated are:

• Commercial - Cincinnati Tan
• Commercial/Residential - Citadel Apartments
• Construction Services - Whisenhunt Construction, Inc.
• Educational Institution - Richmond High School
• Historic Preservation - The Depot
• Religious - Calvary Baptist Church
• Restaurant - El Rodeo - East
• Technology – Summersault

• Non Profit - Children’s Justice & Advocacy Center, Inc. JACY House
• Spirit Award - The Festival of Murals
